ETEA Announces Local Social Series

ETEA is proud to announce the first in our bimonthly socials hosted by different locals in the 2017-2018 year. This month it’s local 7’s turn. On Thursday, September 21st from 4:30-6:30 pm ETEA members are going to do a little bowling, play some billiards, have a couple of beers and get caught up with colleagues from other locals. Come down to Commodore Lanes and Billiards (838 Granville Street, between Robson and Smithe, on the east side). We hope to see some of you there!

Please check this site for updates about the dates and times of our next scheduled socials (approximately every other month) regularly.

Student Outreach Event

Our Student Advocacy Committee is holding an event for international students in Vancouver. Students who are working in Vancouver are invited to come out and share their experience and any concerns they have about working conditions. In group discussions we will talk about students’ work experiences and the laws in BC while enjoying some free food and a beverage. The event is happening on March 15 from 5-7 at the Elephant and Castle, 385 Burrard Street.
